What does joining the Order mean to you?
“To me, being part of the Order of Malta means joining a community of like-minded individuals who are committed to living out Christian values in a tangible and purposeful way. It offers more than just a sense of belonging – it provides a structured and spiritually enriching environment that emphasises prayer, service, and moral discipline. Through the Order, I’ve found the opportunity to engage directly in humanitarian work, to reach out with compassion, and to stand in defence of the faith. It’s a calling to actively spread the Good News, not just in words, but through meaningful action in service to others.
Rachel Pingel, DMG
“The Order of Malta embodies a deep commitment to helping the sick, poor and vulnerable, while working with others who share this calling. In particular, the opportunity to consolidate a sense of Catholic community. Through these practices, I am able to deepen my faith and learn more about the Order’s long-standing traditions”.
Jocelyn Cull Finch, DMG
“The Order of Malta is steeped in history and has been a beacon of hope for the sick and disadvantaged from its very beginning. The Order’s proactive, on-the-ground support for the most disadvantaged in our community is very appealing, and I hope to continue this long tradition of support for the sick, particularly in the Northern Territory where there is much demand for our services.”
Graeme Finch, KMG
