Spiritual Retreats

To enhance the spirituality of our members and their engagement in the works for the sick and poor, the new Constitutional Charter and Code asks that members of the Third Class undertake annually “a course of spiritual exercises of at least three full days” while members of the Second Class undertake annually “a course of spiritual exercises of at least five full days.”

To support members fulfill this obligation we are investigating opportunities to host annual retreats in our leading capital cities each year:

  • Varroville Mt Carmel Retreat Centre – 28-31 August 2026 – Fr Greg Morgan
  • Brisbane – 18-20 September 2026 with Archbishop Mark Coleridge
  • Auckland, New Zealand – 2 – 4 October 2026 with Fr Gerard MecMorrow
  • South Australia – 23-25 October 2026 – TBC
  • Melbourne – 2-4 February 2027 with Fr Max Vodola

All members and candidates are welcome to these retreats and will be notified by email when registrations are open.

We encourage members participate in one or more of these retreats, not only to meet the obligation set out in the Constitutional Charter and Code, but to deepen their relationship with God.

The Australian Association, formed in 1974, currently has in excess of 300 members and aspirant members across every State and Territory of Australia.
