Order of Malta assists those imapcted by flooding in Thailand

06/10/2022

In Thailand heavy rain has resulted in devastating floods in the northern and central parts of the country, affecting at least 45,000 households.

Members of the Order of Malta Thailand have responded by hosting lunches for evacuees at shelters set up by the Ministry of Public Health.

The Order is also supplying survival bags to people who have remained in flood affected areas who have moved to the second floors of their homes. The deliveries will be done by boats, as no vehicles including military trucks can access the flood sites.
