Order Ambulances: Thank you from the Christian Brothers Oceania Province

23/04/2018

The “Knights of Malta” Ambulance – Timor Leste

The “Knights of Malta” ambulance on its last day with us with the staff of the health post.

The Ambulance was loaned to CER by the Order 4.5 years ago for use in the hills & for transporting patients to the various hospitals – particularly Dili. In that time the vehicle had covered 40,000Km in providing comfort & life saving journeys for numerous patients from the 5 villages. CER is deeply appreciative of the generosity of the Knights of Malta in offering the ambulance & its with a touch of sadness that we, the health team & the patients farewell the old horse.
