Order of Malta Australia

Day of the Unborn Child Procession in Sydney

Yesterday, members of the Order of Malta joined the procession of faithful Catholics in the streets of Sydney Australia for the annual Day of the Unborn Child, a day in commemoration for all life tragically lost through abortion.
The Day of the Unborn Child has been celebrated in Sydney since the year 2000. This year’s procession was again led by the Archbishop Fisher who after Mass at St Mary’s Cathedral led those in attendance to Parliament House and concluded with Benediction at the Cathedral. An address was also delivered by Archbishop Julian Porteous.
