Raise money for Coats for the Homeless by becoming a Coffee Morning host

20/06/2013

Thanks to the support of our donors, in 2013 we have increased our Coats distribution to 2,500 Coats (a 25% increase on 2012). Although this is a fantastic achievement, statistics report as many as 20,000 Australians are sleeping rough every night and the demand for our Coats continues to outstrip supply.

Next year we are determined to raise the necessary funds to increase our distribution volume again.

Coats for the Homeless Coffee morning – July 2013

In July we are asking our supporters to host a Coffee Morning in their home, workplace, parish or local community to help raise funds for Coats for the Homeless. Not only will this initiative provide others with the opportunity to donate to this wonderful cause, the greater awareness across the community of the Coats for the Homeless project will be invaluable in helping us grow the project further.

What does becoming a Coffee Morning host involve?

The format of your Coffee Morning is entirely up to you. Whether you use it as an occasion for an overdue catch up with family, ‘piggy back’ off a regular coffee morning with friends or use it as an opportunity to get your work colleagues together, there are lots of possibilities to make your Coffee Morning a success.
