Order of Malta Australia

Importance of philosophy and ethics in Medicine acknowledged

Each year students from the Fremantle Campus of the University of Notre Dame who excel in a particular component of their degree are recognised. The Order of Malta in Western Australia supports the university by sponsoring two of the awards.

Alexandra Wilson was awarded ‘Best Student in Philosophical Studies in Medicine” and Arman Ahmadi was awarded the prize for ‘Best Student in Ethical Studies in Medicine’. His Honour Kevin Hammond AO, who is a Member of the Order in WA presented these awards at a ceremony earlier this year.
