VIDEO: Bringing Lourdes to Singapore – the Order of Malta 4th Lourdes Experience

On 7 December 2019, members of the Order of Malta in Singapore hosted its fourth Lourdes Experience. The celebration was held at Singapore Indoor Stadium that was filled to capacity.

Hundreds of litres of water from Lourdes, France, was imported and packaged for giveaway to pilgrims at the stadium.
There was a healing Mass presided by Archbishop William Goh, and concelebrated by many priests from the diocese and testimonies giving thanks for graces received through the intercession of Our Lady of Lourdes. A candlelight, multilingual rosary procession with the statue of Our Lady of Lourdes was also be conducted on the stadium floor.

Following the example of the activities at Lourdes, the Blessed Sacrament was carried in a monstrance and brought among the sick, as well as around the stadium to bless all who have come to honour Our Lady at this great Marian event.

The Order of Malta would like to thank God for all the beautiful graces granted at The 4th Lourdes Experience, held on Dec 7, 2019 in Singapore. Heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the many volunteers who helped organize and supported us in our mission to serve the poor and the sick. May the Lord’s goodness and Our Lady’s Immaculate love stay with all our pilgrims as we journey onward with faith, hope, and love.
