Order of Malta Australia

Two Knights invested in Wellington, New Zealand

On the 28th October, two knights were invested at the Chapel of the Sisters of Compassion, Island Bay in Wellington, New Zealand.

The mass was concelebrated by His eminence John Cardinal Dew CSj, His Excellency Archbishop Martin Krebs, Apolostic Nuncio and Rev Father James Lyons. The Order of Malta’s President of the Australian Association was also in attendance.

With the addition of the two newly invested Knights, there are now 11 Members of the Order in New Zealand. This small but committed group of Members have initiated the Order’s Coats for the Homeless project in New Zealand and are supporters of regional activities, including the Order’s new Medical Clinic in Dili.
