Order of Malta Australia

Sydney Walk with Christ Eucharistic Procession

On Saturday 19 June, members of the Order of Malta joined over 13,000 disciples for the Walk with Christ Eucharistic Procession through the streets of Sydney.

People from every part of the archdiocese joined together for the Walk With Christ to honour the Feast of Corpus Christi after a three-year hiatus due to pandemic restrictions. The annual event exists to make a joyful public proclamation and act of worship towards the person of Jesus Christ (as King), and to invoke His blessing upon the city.

Thank you to Giovanni Portelli from The Catholic Weekly for capturing these wonderful images of our members who participated. What a beautiful day it was to celebrate this joyful event.
