Presentation by Hans Georg Andras, Knight of Magistral Grace, Honorary Consul of Chile in Vienna, Austria

Mr. Hans Georg Andras, Knight of Magistral Grace, Honorary Consul of Chile in Vienna, Austria, visited members of the Order of Malta Thailand where he was invited to participate in their Mass and bi-monthly meeting on June 20, 2018.

He delivered his presentation about the Austrian Grand Priory and emphasises the charitable works in Austria conducted by 455 members and 1,976 volunteer members. the Austrian Association’s charitable works include HIV/AIDS services , provide social and psychological assistance for victims, visit the lonesome elderly people and the provision of free educational services . They also have House of Malta for the homeless, an organization for children in rural areas to keep away from drugs and crimes and teach them about God. They also render assistance for refugees and teach them German, enabling their transition to live in Austria easier.

The Australian Association

The Australian Association, formed in 1974, currently has in excess of 300 members and aspirant members across every State and Territory of Australia. We also have ongoing and strong links with the Order’s National Associations throughout the Asia Pacific Region including in Singapore and the Philippines and with members of the Order in New Zealand, Hong Kong SAR, Thailand and Korea. The Order of Malta is committed to serving Our Lords the Poor and Sick worldwide and has done so for over 900 years.
