Order of Malta Australia

Order of Malta helping the fire victims of Soi Polo Club, Bangkok

On Saturday 5 December, a fire broke out at Soi (lane) Polo Club which destroyed 25 houses which were lived in by lower income earners. Soi Polo is just behind the Holy Redeemer Church.

In the week that followed, Members of the Order distributed bags to each of the families that were affected by the fire. Members also contributed bags of used clothes and launched an appeal for clothes to be dropped at the church under our own recycle bin to assist these families.
