Order of Malta Australia Attends ACU Interfaith Breakfast at Parliament House
Nearly 250 faith and community leaders, together with parliamentarians, gathered in Canberra on Tuesday for the 9th Australian Catholic University Interfaith Breakfast held at Parliament House.
The Order of Malta Australia was represented by twenty members, including Australian Association President John Murphy, Vice-President Daniel Kwok, Chancellor Frank Zipfinger, and National Hospitaller Frank Testa.
This annual gathering plays a vital role in promoting interfaith dialogue, strengthening mutual respect, and reinforcing a shared commitment to democratic values among political, community, and faith leaders.
This year’s keynote addresses were delivered by ABC journalist Geraldine Doogue and Order of Malta member and ACU Vice-Chancellor Professor Zlatko Skrbis, who offered thoughtful reflections on faith, public life, and the importance of dialogue in today’s society.
