Lunchbox Project welcomes guests, including youngest volunteer in Order of Malta Korea’s history
Throughout the month of April, the Order of Malta Korea‘s Lunchbox service distributed 1,000 meals across four services.
The kitchen also welcomed new volunteers and guests who participated in the service and included Lynne Yap, an aspirant of Singapore Association and her friend Flor Farrera, during their short visit to Seoul. After the service, she said that joining the lunchbox service ‘added special meaning to the visit to Korea”, and she was impressed by how efficient the work was carried out in such a systematic manner.
Other guest visitors included Daniel Koo, a teenager son of one of our aspirants Hyewon Helene Chung, who came in to help while visiting Seoul on Easter holiday, 13 month old Lauren Kim, a daughter of Theresa Yoosun Chung who serves as the Auditor of the Order of Malta Korea, and her grandmother Maria Moonim Lee, one of our devoted volunteers.
