Order of Malta Australia

Email ‘Phishing” Scams

The Order of Malta, like many other charitable organisations throughout Australia, has been subject to attempts by IT hackers to compromise its systems, particularly in relation to unauthorised email seeking personal information such as email addresses or passwords. We advise our stakeholders to be aware of this and take precautions. If you receive a suspicious email please delete it and report it to your IT support service.

The Australian Association of the Order of Malta takes the protection of personal information seriously and continues to protect its IT systems through the use of antivirus and similar software, and with the support of professional IT agencies. Please contact us should you have any queries.
