As we prepare to celebrate the joy and light of Christmas, we are reminded that that while many of us gather with loved ones in the warmth of home, countless others face Christmas with very little—no shelter, no comfort, and no one to share the day with.

For many in our communities—especially the homeless, low-income families, the elderly, and the isolated – the festive season can be the most difficult time of the year. It deepens their sense of loneliness, hardship, and vulnerability.

At the Order of Malta, our mission calls us to serve “our lords, the sick and the poor.” This Christmas, we invite you to join us once again in living out that mission through compassion in action.

Over the festive period our projects will continue to serve those experiencing disadvantage by providing:

• Nutritious meals for individuals and families in need
• Outreach services to the homeless offering Coats, clothing, sun protection and essential hygiene items to those living on the streets
• Programs offering companionship, dignity, and care to the lonely, sick, and socially isolated

Provides a care package containing, socks, underwear, sun protection and hygiene items to help someone survive harsh conditions on the streets.

Support for low-income seniors – $100

Covers a weeks’ worth of supplies for our Mobile Community Care Café, which visits low-income seniors

Nutritious meals – $200

Funds 20 healthy meals for the homeless and disadvantaged through our meal service programs.
