Cardinal Yeom Soo-jung welcomes the new board of the Order of Malta Korea

On 16 May 2023, Cardinal Yeom Soo-jung, Bailiff Grand Cross of Honour and Devotion of the Order of Malta, welcomed the new board of the Order of Malta Korea and gave his blessing. The new president Francisco Lim told the Cardinal that he will try his best to serve as president. Cardinal Yeom said “If we follow God and try to live like him, God will guide the way.”  He also added, “Serving the poor and the sick is precisely the way, which is why I support the Order and I will continue to do so.”

Cardinal Yeom will officiate the Investiture Mass for six new members of the Asia Pacific region, which will be held in Seoul, Korea in October.
