Annual Archbishop’s Dinner in QLD, in aid of the Coats for the Homeless

26/02/2016

The Annual Archbishop’s Dinner in aid of the Coats for the Homeless is being held this year on Friday 1st April 2016.  This year’s speaker is His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, Governor of Queensland, who will be accompanied by Mrs Kaye de Jersey.

His Excellency is a member of the Venerable Order of St. John Venerable Order of St. John, a fellow member of “Mutually Recognised Orders of Saint John”, which all share the same historic mission of caring for the sick and the poor.  Demonstrated through mutual projects such as the St John Eye Hospital, London.

The Governor’s thoughts on the role of the Orders in the modern world will be very interesting.

We encourage all Members and Friends to attend this worthwhile event and to take advantage of the Sponsorship Packages if at all possible.

All funds raised will go to realising our objective of ordering and distributing 2,000 Coats in Queensland this year to Our Lord’s the poor and the sick.
