Annual New Zealand Retreat Unites Members from Across the Region
Members from both the North and South Islands of New Zealand, along with attendees from Australia, gathered at the MacKillop Centre in Mission Bay, Auckland, for the annual New Zealand retreat. The weekend was led by Fr Gerard McMorrow, Chaplain of the Order and Retreat Master, and provided a time of reflection, fellowship, and renewal.
A highlight of the retreat was the investiture of Morgan O’Brien KMG, a new member from Auckland, who was formally welcomed into the Association on Saturday morning. Surrounded by family, friends, and fellow members — including National President John Murphy — Morgan was recognised for his commitment and service throughout his year of preparation.
As part of his formation, Morgan has been actively involved in supporting the homeless community in central Auckland, demonstrating a strong commitment to the Order’s mission of service.
We congratulate Morgan on this important milestone and thank all who contributed to making the retreat a meaningful and memorable occasion.
