The Prince and Grand Master, His Most Eminent Highness Fra’ John Dunlap and the Grand Chancellor, His Excellency Riccardo Paternò di Montecupo have travelled to Australia to mark 50 years since the formation of the Australian Association of the Order of Malta.
The first stop of their visit was in Melbourne where they joined member for Mass at members at Mass at St Patrick’s Cathedral and visited Caritas Christi Hospice in Kew, where they had the opportunity to learn more about the Eastern Palliative Care project, which is dedicated to supporting terminally ill people.
In the evening, a dinner brought together members, friends and volunteers, who heard from the Grand Master and the volunteers themselves, who shared the important impact of the Order’s projects on the community.
