Standing room only at Lourdes Day Mass celebrations in Melbourne
The Order’s Victorian activities for 2012 ended on a triumphant note with the Lourdes Day Mass for the Sick and Frail at St Patrick’s Cathedral on Saturday 1st December 2012. The great Cathedral was standing room only and all of the 2000 packs were distributed. Our Conventual Chaplain ad honorum Dr Denis Hart concelebrated the Mass with the Dean and two of our Magistral Chaplains. His Grace blessed the entire Congregation with Lourdes water. Congratulations to Sauro Antonelli and his many helpers assisting him. Our thanks for the splendid and important role of the Archdiocese Development Office, in particular Barbara Kitchen and staff of their office. There was a strong presence of Volunteers including those from Newman College in their Order of Malta tabards and from Genazzano and Loreto Mandeville Hall in their school uniforms.
