Congratulations to Confrere Paul Zammit OAM who was recognised by the Australian Government on the Queen’s birthday honours’ list. Paul was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the parliaments of Australia and New South Wales, and to the community.

I would like to feel that this Award might also be interpreted as a testament to the dedicated members of our Order who always do so much to uphold our Credo, in serving the sick, the poor and the disabled in our society, year in and year out, working always together in a spirit of goodwill and cooperation towards each of us” said Paul of the honour.

Paul’s wife, Rita, was also awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia, six years ago.
