Order of Malta Australia

Save the date: 2021 Holy Land Pilgrimage

The Holy Land Pilgrimage, scheduled for November 2020 has now been postponed to 2021 following the Covid-19 pandemic.

H.M.E.H. the Grand Master will lead an International Pilgrimage to the Holy Land during the second week of November 2021. Pilgrims from Australia and New Zealand will depart on 6 November 2021.

An extension to Malta after the pilgrimage to the Holy Land is also being organised by Confrere Stephen Gatt.

The Holy Land pilgrimage will be designed in collaboration with Harvest Journeys, a well-respected organiser of Catholic pilgrimages, to include five common events organised by the office of the Grand Hospitaller. They are:

10th November – Bethlehem
Morning: Holy Mass at Saint Catherine’s Church
Afternoon: visit to the Holy Family Hospital (optional)

11th November – Jerusalem
Evening: International Reception at Notre Dame Centre

12th November – Jerusalem

13th November – Nazareth
