Order of Malta Australia

QLD Volunteers distribute 68 Hygiene Packs at first outreach activity of 2020

Order of Malta Volunteers (OMV) started the New Year by supporting Rosies friends with their monthly BBQ and groceries outreach at Rotary Park Aspley serving 47 patrons, including a single father with two primary-school aged sons.

The Volunteers distributed 68 Hygiene items kindly donated by Order of Malta Members and friends.

Amid the soaring temperatures, patrons expressed particular appreciation for the sunscreen, female antiperspirant, hand cream and lip balm donations. Toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo and hair conditioner were also very well received.

Special thanks to the Rosies team and our generous donors, as we strive to serve and share meaningful conversations with people in need.
