Lourdes Day Mass celebrated at St Francis Xavier Cathedral, Adelaide

On Tuesday February 10th Members celebrated their annual Lourdes Day Mass at St Francis Xavier Cathedral, Adelaide and distributed Lourdes water to the congregation.
The mass was celebrated by Fr Philip Marshall and in his homily, he reminded us that at times the sick can be defined by their illness. He shared the story of Jen Vanier founder of the L’Arche community who looked deeply into the eyes of a severely disabled boy remarking how beautiful he was. Fr Phillip said these were words perhaps the boy had not heard for a long time, if ever.
The Lourdes Mass is a timely reminder of God’s unconditional love for us. Through the intercession of Blessed Mary we are reminded of how loved we are.
