In pictures: OLD Fundraising dinner in honour of the Archbishop of Brisbane

29/05/2015

The Queensland Branch held a Dinner and Oration in honour of The Most Reverend Mark Coleridge, Archbishop of Brisbane on the 15th May at Parliament House, Brisbane.  The Order was particularly pleased to welcome His Excellency, the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, Governor of Queensland and Mrs. Kaye de Jersey as special guests.

135 guests were treated to a stirring oration by His Grace on the relevance of “Tuitio Fidei et Obsequium Pauperum” in today’s world.

The proceeds from the Dinner are to benefit the Coats for the Homeless and, at the request of the Archbishop, the Caritas Nepal Earthquake Appeal.
