From the 7^th to the 9^th of June, Members and Candidates of the North Eastern Region met with interstate guests at the Santa Teresa Spiritual Centre for the Order’s Winter Retreat.

Over the three days, attendees enjoyed being challenged by Retreat Director, Fr John Maddon in new ways of examining Old and New Testament scripture. During multiple sessions of stimulating instruction, challenge and dialogue participants discovered the rich layers within foundational texts such as the Garden of Eden, Temptations of Jesus and the Our Father. They were opened to a greater understanding of God’s message held in scripture.

Throughout the Retreat, participants enriched each other’s experience with camaraderie and friendship, with many commenting about the atmosphere of joy and renewal provided by the time together.
