COVID-19 Response: Food parcels delivered to refugee famillies in Thailand

As Covid 19 continues to create financial hardship, the Order of Malta Thailand received a call from Fr.John, an Australian priest from the Augustine Order asking the Members if we can help 12 Pakistani refugee families and an Ethiopian family who urgently need food.

Within 24 hours food parcels were delivered to the families by the Order of Malta Thailand.

The food bags per household contained; 2 kilos of flour, 1 kilo of tomatoes, 1 kilo of lentils, 1 kilo of onions,10 eggs , cooking oil, Pakistani tea and biscuits. The children received drawing books with colorful pencils to occupy their time during Lockdown.

The Order of Malta Thailand continues to combat the hardship Covid 19 is causing in our community.

The Australian Association
