Aid to Cuba following "Superstorm Sandy"

Superstorm “ Sandy “ devastated parts of the United States, as has been exhaustively covered in the global press, which has ensured  massive aid and rapid reconstruction.

Unfortunately “ Sandy” also wrecked havoc on some of America’s Caribbean neighbours, especially Cuba where “ Sandy “  destroyed over 100,000 homes, leaving  500,000 people homeless without access to food or water; and crops obliterated with impending starvation.

The Grand Hospitaller has joined with the President of the Cuban Association of the Order in appealing for urgent help.
